Bringing together startups and leaders in healthcare
In Turkey there was insufficient awareness of atopic dermatitis among doctors and a misalignment between the treatment and follow-up of patients diagnosed with atopic dermatitis. Based on the problems experienced by patients, Pfizer Türkiye Inflammation & Immunology took action to implement breakthrough projects to change the lives of those fighting atopic dermatitis by transforming the management of the disease with novel technological solutions. An innovation program called Patika Startup Challenge was launched in April 2023, in partnership with Hackquarters. The program aims to create more success stories in managing immune-mediated diseases by providing opportunities for health initiatives and strengthening innovation resources.
The innovations in diagnostic technologies, digital health and medical devices presented through the Pfizer Patika Startup Challenge are based on insight collected from patient associations and physicians. Within the Program an initiative was launched to establish long term partnerships, enable digitalization in the healthcare ecosystem and get to know the ventures in the healthcare sector.
